Asakusa miso soup specialty shop ‐MISOJYU‐
Miso soup is commonly served on a table in each Japanese family. There are various ingredients for miso soup and the tastes of miso also varies.
Along with that, the taste of miso soup varies. Miso soup is an important food culture that Japanese people can eat even every day.
The restaurant, MISOJYU was opened with the hope they want you to taste such an important Japanese food culture again and have the opportunity to eat more miso soup. It’s a walking distance from our hotel.
There are various miso soup menus, and you can choose your favorite flavor!
They have standard menus as well as seasonal menus. If you order a set menu, rice balls come with it.
The restaurant was featured on Instagram and TV, and there was a long line.
A check in was accepted with the Airwait app and the wait time was 45 minutes. With a QR code provided, it’s available to check the number of remaining waits, so I waited at nearby Asakusa ROX. There are many places to visit around the restaurant, so the wait time passed in no time.
This time, I ordered [Amazing miso soup with pork-kakuni and vegetable chunks]!
I usually don’t pay attention to tastes of miso soup much, so I felt very luxurious.
In the soup, there are stewed pork and a lot of vegetables, and it was more filling than expected.
It came with rice balls and side dishes, and my stomach and heart were very satisfied.
