At THE KANZASHI TOKYO ASAKUSA, to uphold the safety and comfort of our guests, we have implemented the following rules in accordance with Article 10 of the Accommodation Agreement. Your cooperation in adhering to these rules is kindly requested. Failure to comply may result in the refusal of accommodation or access to hotel facilities, as outlined in Article 7 of the Accommodation Agreement. Furthermore, accidents resulting from non-compliance may necessitate the guest bearing the costs of damages. We appreciate your careful attention to these rules.

Article 1: Matters to Observe for Safety and Security

  1. 1.Please check the “Evacuation Route Map” displayed on the inside of each room door or in emergency stairwell spaces.
  2. 2.Refrain from bringing heating appliances, cooking equipment, and irons, among other things.
  3. 3.Smoking is prohibited throughout the entire hotel. Refrain from smoking in places prone to fires, such as on beds, and avoid smoking in areas other than designated smoking areas. (Article 25 of the Health Promotion Act) In the event of smoking being detected, or if the smell makes room sales difficult, a fine of ¥20,000 will be charged as compensation for the period of room use suspension.
  4. 4.Do not place wet clothes or towels on lighting fixtures, as this may cause a fire. Please refrain from such actions due to the associated danger.
  5. 5.Avoid engaging in any activities that could cause a fire.
  6. 6.When leaving the room during your stay, be sure to lock it. (This hotel is equipped with automatic locking.)
  7. 7.Especially during sleep, please use the internal lock and latch. If there are visitors, do not open the door without checking through the door scope. In case of any suspicion, please contact the front desk.
  8. 8.Be cautious while filling the bathtub with hot water to avoid overflow, which can lead to significant water leakage accidents.
  9. 9.External visitors are not allowed to meet guests inside the rooms.
  10. 10.Accommodation for individuals other than the registered guest is strictly prohibited.
  11. 11.Guests using a car are requested to park in the designated parking area.
  12. 12.Do not leave valuables and other items in the car parked in the parking lot. The hotel cannot be held responsible for loss or theft in the parking lot.

Article 2: Handling of Valuables and Lost Items

  1. 1.Please use the safety box provided in the room for storage of cash and valuables during your stay. If you fail to follow this procedure and lose or damage valuables or cash, the hotel cannot be held responsible for compensation.
  2. 2.Lost items are generally kept for three month unless otherwise specified. However, items deemed disposable, such as food, magazines, newspapers, umbrellas, etc., will be discarded on the same day.

Article 3: Payment

  1. 1.Charges are settled in currency, accommodation vouchers, or credit cards. The full amount will be settled at check-in, but if there are additional bills presented by the hotel, please settle those separately each time.
  2. 2.If you need to change the number of nights for your reservation, please contact the front desk in advance. In the case of an extension, please settle the accommodation charges up to that point.
  3. 3.A deposit may be collected upon arrival.
  4. 4.We do not accept payment by traveler’s checks and do not provide currency exchange services.
  5. 5.We do not accept advance payment for shopping, airline tickets, train/bus tickets, postage for mailing luggage, and other expenses.

Article 4: Prohibited Actions

  1. 1.Do not bring items that may disturb other guests within the hotel.
    (1) Animals/pets, including dogs, cats, birds, etc., excluding legally defined assistance dogs.
    (2) Inflammable or explosive materials such as gunpowder or volatile oils, and dangerous products.
    (3) Items emitting strong odors.
    (4) Firearms and swords without permits.
    (5) Excessively large luggage and items.
    (6) Other items prohibited by law.
  2. 2.Do not engage in activities that disrupt public order or disturb other guests within the hotel.
  3. 3.Do not hang items that may damage the appearance of the hotel on room windows or in the restaurant, and do not display items toward the windows.
  4. 4.Do not engage in business activities in the hotel, such as operating in rooms or the lobby, other than accommodation or restaurant use.
  5. 5.Do not distribute advertisements or promotional materials in the hotel without permission.
  6. 6.Do not use facilities and equipment in ways other than specified locations or purposes, or in ways that significantly compromise their current state.
  7. 7.Do not publicly use photos or other images taken inside the hotel for commercial purposes without permission.
  8. 8.Please refrain from leaving belongings in hallways and lobbies.
  9. 9.Do not go out to public areas like hallways, lobbies, rooftop terraces, and restaurants wearing nightwear, pajamas, slippers, etc.
  10. 10.Unless in emergencies or unavoidable circumstances, do not enter hotel staff areas, emergency stairwells, attics, machinery rooms, etc.
  11. 11.Accept food delivery from external sources in the lobby. We do not arrange deliveries or accept deliveries to rooms.
  12. 12.The hotel is not responsible for damage, contamination, or loss of the hotel building, furniture, fixtures, and other items.

Article 5: Termination of Hotel Usage Agreement

  1. 1.The hotel reserves the right to refuse accommodation or hotel use to individuals associated with organized crime, gangs, gang-related organizations, or other antisocial forces. (If this fact is discovered after booking or during use, accommodation may be refused at that time.)
  2. 2.The hotel reserves the right to decline accommodation or access to its facilities for individuals associated with organized crime, gangs, or organizations where gang members exert control over business activities. In the case of a corporation, if its officers are found to be equivalent to gang members, accommodation may be refused. Please note that if this information is discovered after booking or during the stay, the hotel retains the right to refuse accommodation at that time.)
  3. 3.he hotel may refuse accommodation or hotel use if the person intending to stay engages in violence, coercion, extortion, or other intimidating unreasonable demands against the accommodation facility or hotel staff, or demands burdens beyond a reasonable range, or has previously engaged in similar behavior at this hotel or another hotel.

Article 6: Eco Activities
